referencing s web control

guy
VB.NET2005
I am not a web developer so this is probably easy...

I have a number of web controls in my project.
two are called for example CustomRow and RowBlock

how can i refer to CustomRow from within RowBlock?

I need to do something like
Dim myRow As CustomRow= LoadControl ("~/UserControls/CustomRow")

however i cant 'see' CustomRow

i can do
Dim myRow As Object = LoadControl ("~/UserControls/CustomRow")
and thois works, however i can not then cast myRow to CustomRow and hence
cant see its properties etc.

i guess this is something to do with the controls only being built at runtime.

how do i get round this?

guy
