Interop wrapper question

Rob
I am attempting to wrap a COM component to use with VB.NET 2003. The problem
I have is the COM component has a property called "Text". It appears that
when .NET builds the interop, it is overriding the COM component's write-only
Text property with its own read-write Text property. Is there any way to
convince .NET to not override the COM component's original Text property with
its own Text property so I can use this component?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
