ToolTip

Experienced posters,

I am trying to owner draw a tooltip. But I notice that alot of the basic
controls don't have a tooltiptext property. Is this property one that is
similarly given to a control when the ErrorProvider is used?

My goal is to draw a image along with the text in the tooltip for labels,
pictureboxes and such. Not sure if I need to do hoover, enter or exit for
mouse events. Or can I just override/inherit from tooltip objects.

I am new to this area, so thanks for assistance.

Chris,

I thought you can add to all controls the tooltip.

See this not to much threads about messages from balloontooltips in this
newsgroups, I think that that can give you good ideas, because most where
very usefull answers.

I hope this helps?

Yes, it's an extender control.

I thought that it was an Component from System.ComponentModel.Components

Just for later reference of course.
