anchors in vwd

I have been using VWD to make an asp.net 2.0 data management site and
have both enjoyed using it and have been impressed by it. I have been
successful in my efforts so far but I have been perplexed trying to
find a solution to a task I thought would be simple.

I just want to add anchors to my pages.

For example when a user clicks an 'Add Record' button I want the page
to automatically scroll down to a predefined section on the page with
the start of the 'insert record' template at the top of the page.

I know I could use the form view in another way, but this would work
well for the site I have made.

I would appreciate any advice with regard to this as I have found very
little researching this.
