Absolutely. I posted a similar question not long ago and I am now
running both on the same machine without any problems.

I also have both versions installed and both run just fine. I do think
you would need to install 2003 first and then 2005, though, but I am
not sure. That's how I did it.

How easy is it to load a VB2003 project in VS2005?

Every one I have loaded converted with no problems.

I assume only windowforms projects and no webform projects?

Well, you can for me now but that's another good reason to move to
VB2005 before I start with a webform.

Is VB2005 officially released now or is it still beta? I used to be
getting MSDN disks left and right and was waiting for it to come out on
a disk that didn't say Beta. But I'm not getting disks any more. The
office switched to a volume licensing setup or something and I think
somewhere in that our MSDN subscriptions admin opted out of getting the
disks. I now have a benefit access number to replace my soon to expire
subscriber id.
