Change Screen Resolution in VB.NET?????

I have been able to determine the resolution on the users machine, but
i am looking for a way to force the resolution to 1024 X 768 if it is
not that already in VB.NET. Can someone please help me with this.
Also, is
there a way to progromatically move the users taskbar back to the top
or the bottom if it is located on either the left or right side of the
screen? Thanks.

Speaking as a user, any application that forces a change in MY screen
resolution and moves MY taskbar, is a poorly designed piece of crap
application. Suggest you rethink you design.

As you know do I write this as well forever. There is one exception.

If the program is only used in one organisation which has this as rule.

(Although in my idea they can than spent there time better, therefore those
rules are mostly temporaly: until this is seen and those who makes this
rules are fired)

The only possible exceptions are games - Doom.Net anyone? <shudder /> -
where you may need to switch to a known resolution.

If an organisation insists on a standard screen resolution, then there
is /no need/ for any application to change it - it should already be set
the way it's supposed to be.

I good game does that not need anymore, I see a lot of those.

But you cannot easy protect that. However as said I find it a real strange
organisation who tells there employees how height their chair (which is
changable) has to be. To give an anology.
