Hi,
I am buiding programmatically a web page and opening it locally with
Internet Explorer:
'-----------------------------
FileName = "file:///" & FileName.Replace(" ", "%20")
Try
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("IExplore.exe", """" &
FileName & """")
Catch
MsgBox(ex.Message, MsgBoxStyle.Information)
End Try
'-----------------------------
I have the following problem. The web page contains a reference to an
external local script (that fixes the IE6 alpha transparency problem).
My problem is that, each time, the script get blocked by IE and the
user has to enable it manually. This is of course very annoying, as the
page is perfectly secure (being build programmatically) and we do not
need that annoying check.
Can anyone suggest a bullet proof method to avoid (programmatically)
that block. I have tried messing with the register. But I feel it is a
solution too invasive and, further, I guess it can be blocked by
security programs such as spybot or similar.
What can I do to allow execution of my page without bothering, each
time, the user?
