Developing ASP.NET 2.0 Applications

Hello,

Because I don't have $$$ to upgrade to VS 2005 and VB 2005 at this moment.

Can I develop ASP.NET 2.0 applications using VB.NET 2003?

Follow-up question,
if it is okay to use VB.NET 2003 for ASP.NET 2.0,
any software I should install to my PC?

Thanks.

No. VS 2003 targets 1.1 applications. VS Express Editions are free and
includes Visual Web Developer 2005 Express :

Short answer - No.

You /can/ write ASP.Net 1.1 applications that /should/ run on a box with
only Framework 2.0 installed.
You can't use any Framework 2.0 features in VS 2003, though - it's
hard-wired to use Framework 1.1.
