IDE hangs pinning toolbox so it's open

cj
I usually leave my toolbox on the left side set to autohide. Sometimes
if I'm doing a lot with it I want it to remain open. So I move the
mouse over it and when it's open I click the tack to keep it open. Not
everytime but all too often the mouse turns to an hour glass and the IDE
hangs. I can't do anything else. I've waited 15 minutes and it's still
hung. I have to use task manager to close the IDE. Task manager
reports the IDE is not responding.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Working on XP Pro machine with a 3GHz Pentium 4 and 1 GB memory. Only
have the IDE and my Mail and Web browser applications running.

Hello,

Are there any third party controls added to the toolbox? I didn't heard
similar issue when there are only standard component on it. Also, are there
any applications running on your computer which will monitor File I/O like
a anti-virus software? This also can cause a hang on that.
