With Nothing not error handling

This has probably come up before, but Google won't allow a search on
the "with" statement.

Basicaly, if I create a new form that eventually does a with Nothing,
it acts odd.
dim O as myObj

O=....

' At this point, O is nothing, and I am not expecting it to be nothing
or providing an escape if it is Nothing..

With O
.mymethod

....
End With

This situation causes VB.NET (in debug mode) to give the following
error in trying to create a new form:

An unhandled exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' occurred
in system.windows.forms.dll

Additional information: Error creating window handle.

Why doesn't it flag that a with statement occurred with an object set
to nothing? Is this a bug?
