Put date into Registry on Setup

Whats the best way for me to put the current date into the registry when a
form app is being installed?

Can I do this via the registry editor in the setup project, or do I need to
create a small .exe as a custom action?

TIA

Its ok. I've managed it buy sending custom action parameters (the relevent
one being [date] ) to a custom action .exe that I'd added to my project.

This was in order to set a program expiry date in the registry.

If anyone wants more details let me know.

Thanks,

JJ
