Detect Windows XP built-in firewall

Hi,

A part of my application needs to detect most of the best known
firewalls on the market, and of course Windows XP has oen built in. So
my question is pretty simple, is there a way to detect if the built in
firewall of XP has been activated for the whole system or, and this
option would be much better for me, on a specific connection under
VB.Net?

Thanks :)

Guillaume
