VB2005 printing problems

In VB6 (converted to VB2005) there are 6 different sub-menu items where the
user has a choice of listing items on the screen or printing out a list of
items.

Each such menu item puts the name of a file in a string variable and calls a
print routine. Obviously I have boucoup errors and warnings.

But the documentation always shows doing the printing from a button click. I
don't have a button to click !!

Incidentally it is not a matter of just printing the file. The print routine
goes into a loop and parses the file, line by line, and picks out a portion
of the string to be printed. Then if too many lines, say 60, it prints a
page and continues the print loop.

Any code, or links to documentation, code, etc will be welcome.
