Filestream, xmltransform,textwriter

Jon
I am transforming some xml with an xsl stylesheet, as below:
xslt.Transform(GetXMLReader(fileXML, disableDTD), Nothing, iosOutput)

iosOutput can be either a filestream, a textwriter or a xmlwriter.

I do not want to put the resulting transform onto disk. I only want to store
the transform in a string variable. If I use a filestream, it always creates
a file on the disk.

Can anyone tell me how to get my transform directly into a string var
without ever writing anything to disk?
Thanks!
