How to connect using VPN.

I need to programmatically connect to a private network thru a modem
using VPN.

Currently I can connect directly using a dialup connection to a private
network thru a modem using the following code:

Private Declare Function InternetAutodial Lib "wininet.dll" (ByVal
dwFlags As Long, ByVal dwReserved As Long) As Boolean

Private Sub Test()
InternetAutodial(2, 0)
End Sub

Unfortunately my company is no longer allowing a direct modem dialup.
We've switched to using VPN. So my question is how do I launch a VPN
connection thru a modem using VB.NET and Windows 2000.

Thanks!
