Read HDD sr no and lock my application with no

Hi,
can anyone help me with the code or instructions to write a code to
read the HDD sr no and lock my application to this no. for security and

piracy protection of my application.

I suggest not to do that. Harddisks often crash and are replaced by new
ones. Can you really affort a 24/7 support hotline?

Buy a proper protection system. They are available off the shelf. Google for
(anti piracy solutions)
