Form events and threading

I'm working on small web server class in Visual Basic to use on a
project. It's heavily based on the C# server written by Imtiaz Alman
over at CodeProject.com. Like his, my server uses Theading
(System.Threading.Thread) to allow multiple servings at once. My class
is created in a web form, so I can control it via a GUI. My problem is
that, for some reason, I can't seem to stop the threads when I click on
the "X" button -- when I close the form.

I have googled, but I cannot seem to word my searches properly. I'm
hoping someone here can help me:

How do you close all threads before closing the GUI? What event gets
triggered when I click on the "X" button -- is it "Close" or "Closing"?
Any help would be hot, and if nyone needs to see my code, I can post
those segments.

Thanks.
