Doubt In Serial Communication.

hi

I hav to upload data from office of one branch to another branch which
is 15 KM apart
only through VB.Net using Telephony as They Dont Hav the Web Server And
They r
convenient with Telephony.
Well I can Use MSCOMM32.ocx registered and proceed on,but i want to
know whether
we hav an other controls for serial comm in VB.Net?

Hi,

You can download DesktopSerialIO from my homepage, or XMCommCRCNET (supports
error-checked file transfers using XMODEM, both checksum and CRC). There
are other free serial objects, too.

The source code for both of these is in my book (see below).
