Distributing vb Programs

Hey, this should be an easy question -- I'm new with Visual Basic and
completed a program, and wanted to see if I could send it to others. When I
tried to install it on a friend's computer, an error came up stating that
they needed the correct .NET Framework.

Is there any way I can link the installers to a website where they can
download the correct framework, or can I include it in the installation?

Yes, there is a way to include the entire .NET 2 framework with your
app,
but the more standard way is to install the .NET 2 framework on the
computer and then your application.
Just tell your users your app requires .NET 2 and point them to the
download location:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en
