Web page look and feel user interface

Just wondering what is the technology behind applications like MS
Money, Quicken, Outlook (Outlook Today). They all have a web page look
dashboard, can similar things be done in VB.net?

My guess is that they use the web browser control or some kind of
embedded HTA, but I'm not 100% sure. What do you thing?

Hi,

Yes you could use a webbrowser control to display the info. Here
are some videos on how to create a outlook and messenger like interface.
