Can we change width of Autocomplete list in code?

Is there a way to change the startup width of the Autocomplete list that
popups when you use the Autocomplete features of a listbox.
For example, I have a small list box the will display the 2 letter State
code of the USA. However, I'd like the autocomplete list box to be wider and
heigher than the initial size (I am using a cusotm list that includes states
in the form as XX StateName, ie.,
MO MISSOURI
MT MONTANA
NE NEBRASKA
NV NEVADA
Etc....

Since the listbox is only the size of the first two letters, when it first
appears, it is too small to see everything else. Although the user can
manually resize it, is there a way to do this in code so that it doesn't have
to be resized each time the program starts?

Appreciate any help....
Thanks.
