Formatting in Bound Controls

How do I control formatting of values in a textbox bound to a table in a
dataset? For example, if I want to show dates only in short format or a
certain number of decimal points in a floating point number. Also, are
there problems binding a DateTime picker control? When I did this, it kept
thinking the value was Null when I tried to move to a different record, even
though a date was visible in the control.

Thanks,

Bob
