Not bad. I assume this is a prototype for a more feature rich utility. Here are some suggestions.
1) Allow for browsing to the database. I looks like the initial database path is hardcoded since it did not point at the mdb when
the app was launched.
2) Since you are providing all of the tables and columns, you should consider allowing the user to double click on the table or
column name and copy the information to the TextBox at the current carret location.
3) Consider allowing the user to resize the window so that more of the results can be displayed w/o having to scroll. You may also
want to consider displaying the results in a separate window and allowing multiple results windows to be open.
4) You may want to consider adding the ability to export the results to a text or csv file, along with the ability to print the
results.
I wrote a query tool back in 2000 that allows for all of the features mentioned above along with the ability to open and query
MSSQL, Oracle and MSAccess databases. It has evolved over time to be quite useful. In fact, I use it almost every day.
