Upgrade to .net 2

I am working on a VB .net 1.1 application. When .Net 2.0 is released can my
project be easily upgraded to it?

How easy is easy? Will any upgrading at all be required or will 1.1 apps run
under 2.0 without any changes?

Yes, well, except if your application is a VS.NET add-in <g>

For general .NET applications see:

If you are working with ASP.NET 1.x see:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/asp.net/mi...e/default.aspx

Dennis,

It should be, however there is still no production version. All are still
beta's.

I am no busy doing lazy some things with axwebbrowser, the mesh did look
complete when I tried it.

However who knows if that is the same in the final version.

Hi Cor,

Although VS 2005 is in beta, you can go into production with it through a
GoLive license:
