Debugging code

How can I set a breakpoint in vb.net and then use F5 to start and then F8
to go through the code line by line?

If you click on the margin to the left, a breakpoint should be set.
When the code hits that part, it should break. Are you seeing
different behavior?

Make sure you are compiling in debug mode.
