So where to start?

Hi

2 years ago I spent a lot of time learning VB.Net, and finsished the book "
Visual Basic.net, step by step". I felt I had learned a lot, but sadly
things happened, and I haven't been using VB.Net since. Well, now I will
pick it up again, but might have to start over. So, should I continue with
VB.Net 2003, or should I start with the new 2005 edt. and pick up some new
books in october.
Can anyone please guide me in the right direction?

I would directly start with VS 2005.

Thanks Herfried.

But what literature should I start with. You could asume that I am an
absolute beginner, even though I have played around a bit with Vb.Net, ref.
my original post.

Andy,

If you do have VS2003 or VB2003 than I would go for one of those.

The documentation about 2005 is not yet that as it is for 2003 on MSDN. 2003
is at least much comfortable to work with than the June 2005 version and the
major changes in the language are so slight for a beginner that it is not
noticeable.

Just my opinion.
