This is going to be hard to explain, but here it goes...
I have a class (usercontrol, actually) that has a property called "Value" of
type Object. It is set up to be bindable, and in the SET method, I pass the
value to another property of type DATE.
If this control is bound to a datatable, and the current row contains a NULL
value an error "Object cannot be cast from DBNull to other types." is thrown
as you would expect.
So, I wrap the SET method in a Try/Catch and just ignore the error if it
occurs. This works just fine on a test form.
What is driving me nuts, is when I put this user control into another
program, It starts throwing the exception instead of ignornig it!
Any chance anyone knows what I'm talking about and have any clues??? Thnaks
in advance,
