I have a control that does not have a drag/drop event, so i need to know
when, if the mouse is over that particular control which is a child control
of a Tabcontrol, so If i can find the screen coordinates of the control, I'm
good to go.

Than you can in my opinion use the link I gave you.

Although easier is the mouseenter and the mousehoover event while setting a
switch after a mouse downevent.
