System.Web.Mail Diagnostic Help?

Greetings:

I am having a problem sending e-mail from an ASP.NET Web Form I was hoping
to find some insight on here in this newsgroup.

Its a very simple form to send back request information, no formatting or
anything fancy, just using the System.Web.Mail namespace.

The application worked fine on my test box (Win2K Pro, SP4), but when I
moved it over to my production server, the mail feature no longer functions.

The 'production' web server is also the Exchange/SMTP server that is
configured for use in both boxes, so I realize it could be a configuration
issue between one versus the other, but not sure where/how I can debug the
System.Web.Mail usage. The Production box is a Windows 2000 Server w/ SP4.

The code to mail the message is wrapped in a try/catch block, and no
exception is returned, yet I see no record of the mail or attempt to mail on
my Exchange logs from the local box.... only from the test box, nor is the
message ever received from the production box.

As I said, the whole process works fine on my test box.

I can post the code if necessary, but as I said, I think its a config issue,
if someone can point me in the right direction.

I would be very grateful for any help anyone can provide that may be related
to IIS Config, .NET config,, or Exchange Config, or anything else.

Thank you in advance!
