VB.Net Closes Abnormally

I have a VB.Net application which I have been develpoing.
I am able to load the program but when I start debugging or compile, the
system closed down.
No error message is displayed.

Any Help is much appreciated.

Do you mean your application closes abnormally, your computer system as a
whole closes down or do you mean your application plus the Visual Studio
..NET closes abnormally?

Have you got the latest .NET 1.1 Service Pack installed as well?

Yes, Installed a long time ago.
Only new program is Microsoft AntSpyware

Is there a log file that .Net writes to when closing?

Thanks
Gavin
