Is VB.Net compatible with FileMakerpro 6.0

Hi Sir.

I am having a doubt, "--Can i connect from
VB.net to an FileMaker Pro(6 .0) Database.--"

My requirment is to prepare a scheduler
for individual to set the task
Here i am specifying the abstarct of my requirement

"--- From a FileMaker record/database user will be able to post an
appointment to a specific GroupWise calendar and/or individuals calendar If
they decide to later edit or delete the appointment in FileMaker they can
have the option of updating/deleting the GroupWise event.
This must work on Windows XP and on Windows 2003. Filemaker is version
6.---"

--This is my requirement, so can i use VB.net as Front End, if not

which is best suitable one. Please respond me as i am in need of quickly.

Thanking you sir

The .NET Framework can use native .NET Data Providers, OLEDB Providers or
ODBC drivers. So, as long as you find one of those components for FileMaker
you will be able to connect to the database

Apparently at least version 7 mentions an ODBC driver (although it would be
better a native .NET data provider):
