So far there are only two VS.NET version: 2002 and 2003. They are hard coded
to use ,NET1.0 and .NET1.1 respectively (Upcoming VS.NET2005 in November
uses .NET2.0). They can co-exist in the same box peacefully. No need to
uninstall VS2002 before installing VS2003 (the same could also be true for
VS2005, I'll bet), unless you want to free some disk space taken by the "big
package" and you do need need to develop for older .NET framework.

Visual Studio.net is a big package. I'd like to upgrade to a newer
version. Should I follow the general practice and uninstall an older version before
installing a newer version?
