Illegal cross-thread...

P: n/a
quite some time ago I learned the BeginInvoke(mydelegate,...) technique
to avoid raising cross-thread forms exceptions. today (without
realizing it) I typed the equivalent of mydelegate.BeginInvoke(...).
This raised the exception. Correcting to the first form eliminated it.

This raises a question in my mind, to wit: How is
BeginInvoke(mydelegate,...) different from mydelegate.BeginInvoke(...)?
