Word Document Is Not Printing

P: n/a
Hi,

Firstly let me explain the problem, we have an a vb.net application which
prints letters to a printer (either a local or remote printer). The
application uses the Microsoft Word Object to generate the letters and print
them (all of this is hidden from the user), this works fine on our
development machines. However we have a site in Italy where the letters will
not print, the letters do go to the print queue but have a size of zero and
therefore nothing prints. The only way the letters
print for this site is if i actually open word within the application
and then select print from the word menu.I will explain in detail below, but
has anyone else experienced this and if so how do i get it to print.

DETAILS
-------
Our application has the executable on a server and all of the clients
run an instance of the executable from the server. All of the printers
are set up the server as well so users can print to any printer on the
site.

I use the following command to print to the printer
MAILAPP.ACTIVEDOCUMENT.PRINTOUT

The server is Windows Server 2003, and it uses Active Directory.

Could Active Directory be the problem??

Just let me know if you need more information

Thanks
