Accessing values set by client script - inneHTML

P: n/a
Hi,

I have a datagrid containing, say, 3 textboxes and 1 label.
When user key in values into the textbox, the average value will be
calculated in javascript and display to the label using:

document.getElementById("grid1__ctl1_lblAvg").inne rHTML = average;

When I click Update to update the row to DB, I fail to get the correct
value set using innerHTML (tried innerText but same thing). The value I
got is old value. Can you help?
Thanks,
Claire
