Stumped (static? Variable)

I have an app that has a linklabel on a form....opens IE and goes to a
specified webpage via

**************************************
LinkLabelOLB.LinkVisited = True

System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(http://www.the website.com/)

**************************************

works great.....

The question:

What is the strategy (if any) to allow an end user to change the address
that the linklabel points to and save it after the app has been closed. Sort
of like making the linklabel address behave as a "property" that the user
can manipulate, say, via an input form, and have it remain what is was set
to until changed again (by the user).

Is this done via a static variable? I recognize that it would be possible to
have the seb address saved as a variable and substituted in the procesStart
method above (I think)

Any input is appreciated in advance.

(Hope this question makes sense).

Grumpy,

I think that you mean by not using the Favorites but your own collection in
by instance the registry as IE does it with the URL line.

Just guessing
