naming conventions for vb.net controls

what are the general naming conventions for vb.net controls.
esp txtUserName, lblPassword, btnSubmit

What are the prefixes for the controls????

I've tried to search hi and low on the net, but in vain.
I'd much appreciate it if someone could guide me with regards to this.
All i need are standards for me to follow by my self. Cuz i'm finding it
difficult to make my own darn standards.

cheers

Microsoft doesn't recommend type prefixes, however, they are IMO an
important productivity feature. The article below contains some links to
Microsoft's own naming conventions and naming conventions developed by other
parties:

In a strongly-typed OO language, prefixes shouldn't be necessary. However,
for those of us who developed in VB6, it can be hard to get away from. If
you want to know what prefixes were previously used, try searching on VB6
"Hungarian Notation".
