Standards

Are there any tools

1. To check if a screen adheres to pre-defined standards (like positioning
and alignment of controls etc.)
2. To check spellings of labels, captions etc. for correctness

Thanks in advance

FxCop (at gotdotnet) will check spellings of labels, captions, etc., and
other things for correctness.

My add-in (below) offers an external operation (with source code) to check
spelling using MS Word. I don´t have a feature to review alignments and
positions, but the add-in allows you to build your own reviews through
external operations. Contact me if you are interested and need some
assistance.

Charles,

I cannot resist when I read this kind of message (it is not the first time
about the spellchecker), it seems that people thinks that English is the
only spoken language in the world. While it is only 8% of the world
population who does that.

At least there can be some extension in the question/answer for what
language the spellchecker has to be or is.

That in our business everybody speaks more or less English, does not mean
that the end-user does that.

:-)
