Well this is your lucky day ,,,,,

cause i just finished a project that does exactly that
I use a modified version of Cassini not the CassiniEX version as i noticed
that it is much slower as the original ( because all the Log functions etc
etc that i don`t need ) and because this version will not run on XP Home
edition

So i modified the Cassini.dll myself ( instructions how to do that ,can be
found on the net ) and run it in my own customized VB.Net Host it runs on
all NT versions ( Not 9.X )

So if my program starts it hosts the Cassini dll i modified points to my
directory that contains my webservice and web interface , adds a
portnumber and it is accessible on the hole network
If you want more info , or an example let me know
