Send xml content through httpRequest

Hello Friends

I want to know if it is possible to generate xml content and send it through
HTTP Request to a URL and wait for that URL send a message validating the xml
content. I receive an answer if everything is ok or not (that URL send me one
HTTP Response).
If so, wich classes should I use and where can I find one example to start.
I never used HTTP request/response to send content, and I'm very appreciate
if someone help me.

Thanks for Help

Dario D.
