Making a field in an Access Table the Primary Kley

Hi all, in my VB.NET app I would like to make a field in an Access Table the
Primary Key. I've tried using an OleDBDataAdapter and DataTable with no
success...

Note: There is only 1 field in the Version Table called Version.

Dim dc As New OleDb.OleDbCommand("SELECT * FROM Version")
Dim daVer As New OleDb.OleDbDataAdapter(dc)
Dim dcb As New OleDb.OleDbCommandBuilder(daVer)
Dim dt As New DataTable
dc.Connection = cn
Try
' Read in Version.
daVer.Fill(dt)

Dim keys(1) As DataColumn
Dim val As Object
keys(0) = dt.Columns("Version")
dt.PrimaryKey = keys
dt.Columns("Version").Unique = True
dt.AcceptChanges()
daVer.Update(dt)
Catch ex As Exception
MsgBox("Error Updating Version database " & ex.Message)
End Try

No errors are generated, however they field is never changed as the
PrimaryKey.

Can anyone help.
