Converting any documents to image

Hi all.

I need to convert any kind of document (.doc, .pdf, .ppt, etc) to images
(jpg, preferencially).

I know is possible do that because that documents are printed on a printer,
which can be captured and converted to images.

My doubt is, exists some free code available (C# or VB.net, I don't care) ?
If not, can you suggest any non-expensive commercial component I can buy?

Thanks
Cesar

The easiest way I know of to do this, and I'm not claiming to be an expert
is to get a print screen of the page and then research how to do file
conversions.
