Installing VS.NET 2005 Beta 1

Hi All,

I'm devoting a machine to start testing the 2005 series and I keep getting
the following error when trying to start VS.NET 2005:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Viual Studio 8\Common7\IDE\devenv.exe
This application has failed to start because the application configuration
is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.

Note that MS says "may" fix. It doesn't. I'm installing from my MSDN DVD,
which installs the 2.0 Framework as well. There are no errors during the
installation, only when I try to start the app.

Anybody run across this? I checked MSDN, nothing there (although I could be
using the wrong search phrases)

TIA,
Lee
