Excel to VB Cell Transfer

I am pulling Excel single cell information from a workbook to a
textbox in a VB.net form. Most of the information is transferring
without a problem, but some cells with function calculations are
transferring erroneous figures.
Is there a method to either change syntax in VB.net or change
formatting in Excel to transfer the correct number?
I am using VB.net with an Excel object reference. The object
reference is 9.0 for Excel 2000.
There must be a method to process the exchange. If anyone has any
ideas please reply.

Thank You,

Larry Jones
