File Version (Build Increment)

Hi Guys,
When I compile and run a project it does not change the file version, though
I have made some changes. How can can I force it to Increment the build
version whenever I recompile.

I am using framework 1.1 (Version1.1.4322 SP1)

Thanks,
Richard
