FileStream of used file

Hello,
I have opened a file doc in word , the user can works with this
document.
When the user finishes to modify the word document wants to send it.
I would take the content of this file and put it into a byte Array so
that I can send it to a server.
If I use a fileStream occurs an error because the file is already in
use from an other process!
How can I make it without having to close the word document?
Thanks
Marco
