Server socket problems

Ken
I have an application that requires a server and client. The client seems to
be working well, but the server is a beast. A "reset" command is being
transmitted to me from the client and I am not handling it correctly. Also,
I "close" the server once per day for a memory refresh and the client is
unable to re-establish a connection to my server. I know this information is
not enough to do an analysis, but I was wondering if there were any known
issues with server (sockets) in VB.NET. Any help or directions to any
resources would be appreciated.

Oh yea, I kept getting a stack overflow when a client would connect and
disconnect many times during the day. Any idea on what could be causing a
problem like that? I was trying to use some garbage collection methods, but
I don't believe they were working properly and the program would crash.

Thanks,
Frustrated in KY.
