standard data form direct to an excel spreadsheet

I want to be able to put in a persons name, address, postcode, social
security number etc in a row of an excel file. I must be able to do this
over a network so many users can add to the spreadsheet. The program must
also log the time that the data was added... any ideas on doing this?

Scott,

In this case it is in my opinion when you want to do it with VBNet to use a
real database. You can either take a file system as Access or a fileserver
system as SQLServer, MSDE, or Oracle, or whatever.

When you want to do it with Excel, have than a look in one of the Excel
developpers newsgroup which are very active.

microsoft.public.excel.programming

I hope this helps

Put taken Cor. I want to use it in a location where there users are
Microsoft 'addict freaks' and only know there way around MS Office and would
cry at the chance of learning about relational databases. Also the project
is so simple a database would be overkill! But I have taken on what you
have said and posted to that newsgroup too!
