DEBUG Play

In VB6.... you could test in the debug window with date code (IE ?Date,
?Now etc) and quick variable syntax checking. The VS 2003 debug window is
only active in break mode. Is there a functionality in VS 2003 that allows
this kind of quick educational testing?
Thanks
