Yes it can be installed on win 98. Please note that not all
functions are supported on windows 98. Take a look at the functions you use
documentation the supported os will be listed on bottom. Hope this helps

Thanks.
But I cannot install .net framework in my win98. The error is shown and
suggested me to upgrade OS to WIN2k or above.
Are there many exe file to install .net framework for different OS ? I only
found one exe file to be downloaded from web but without specific guidelines
for certain OS or not .

to install the dotnet framework version 1.1. Note windows 98 is listed as a
supported operating system.
